So I had this brilliant idea last week to go away for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Like not do the whole family slaving in the kitchen to eat Thanksgiving dinner at 2pm and watching all the little kids run after the ice cream man.
Oh, y’all don’t eat ice cream in short on Thanksgiving where you’re from? You must not be from Houston then. You remember this nifty little diagram?
Holidays (except Christmas) are not excluded from this.
ANYWHO!!
I was wracking my brain trying to figure out a place to go and then it hit me…
NYC!!
This would be my first Thanksgiving away from the family by choice (I don’t want to talk about that depressing Thanksgiving my sophomore year of undergrad), and I wanted to make it a memorable one. I’m going up to the big apple with some of my girls and we are going to have a blast!
I’m dedicating this Pinteresting post to that trip!
Do y’all have any suggestions of activities that we could do (aside from shopping…I don’t want to stand in those Black Friday lines) or restaurants we should hit up?
