Here’s the synopsis:
The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate percentage of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance between her and the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

My summary:
This book was actually pretty tame. I felt like it was going to be a bit more violent with all the hushed whispers I was hearing about it. Then again, I felt the same about the Fifty Shades series. Don’t get me wrong, Travis’ fights were gruesome at times as was his hair trigger, but I still felt that it was tame. I did get the whole “I have to be with him/Change him” vibe from Abby though. I was just happy that she didn’t pull a Bella in New Moon after Edward left when she and Travis broke up. I will admit that I almost cried at the end after that last fight. I won’t spoil it for y’all. I will definitely be reading the next book in the series to see where Abby and Travis are going to go from here.

See I have a feeling that's how I will feel too. Fifty Shades was sooooo tame. Not that I really read a ton of graphic sex/violence novels or anything, but I don't shock easily. It's nice to see someone else feels the same 🙂
