I’m sure y’all saw my post about me starting Weight Watchers earlier this week and I just wanted to update y’all on how it’s going.
I’ve been working out before work out before work everyday, 30 & 45 minutes of cardio, along with walking an additional 40 minutes a day.
Its only day 4, but I think I’m off to a great start!
I’m going to continue doing what I’m doing and I’ll keep you guys updated.
First!!
I want to dispel some myths…this probably doesn’t apply to y’all, but just in case you didn’t know Weight Watchers isn’t a diet. It’s a way of life. You can eat whatever you want, just in moderation. I had to tell a co-worker that today when she told me that she wanted to “respect my diet by not offering me chips and salsa”. I mean c’mon!
Really?!
I honestly believe that she was trying to be snide, that’s just in her nature, but I promptly told her that I’m not on a diet, just changing my way of life when it comes to food & working out. That shut her up really quickly.
I also wanted to reward myself for achieving small goals. I’m probably not going to be buying clothes for awhile, but if you know me you know that I have a slight obsession with glasses and nail polish. With websites like ZenniOptical & EyeBuyDirect making it super affordable to buy cute prescription glasses & sunglasses my collection is up to 10 pairs of glasses and 4 pairs of sunglasses.
Anywho!!
I decided to reward myself with a new pair of glasses or sunglasses with every 20 pounds I lose. Its the little things that make me happy. I’ve had my eyes on these from Zenni.
I think they’d make a perfect addition to my collection.
Now it’s time to get down to the nitty gritty!
It’s PINTERESTING WEDNESDAY!!!
I’m combining this post and link up with Michelle @ The Vintage Apple again.
That was me this morning!
I think I could pull this off with my coral maxi skirt and white tub top.
I’ve figured out how to have a 0pts version of Passion Tea Lemonade…score!!
I think I’m going to implement this rule on my next week long trip.
Switch out the jeans for a pair of black slacks and add a white cardigan to keep it work appropriate and this is my outfit for work today.
I love everything about this outfit EXCEPT the headband. Got. To. Go!
I can’t wait to wear something like this for Casual Friday this fall.
I might have to make these for Chuck…and eat a few myself.
