This week is almost over and I couldn’t be happier. School has officially started back and its definitely surreal that this is my second to last semester…for awhile at least.
Let’s get straight into things, shall we?
Its Ok…
…that I look forward to my morning convos with Raj every morning. It definitely helps that she’s 6 hours ahead of me. I absolutely adore this gal!
…that I now know of all the Houston area locations of Raising Canes because a co-worker asked me where one of their locations on the north side of town was. I was under the impression that we only had 3 in the city and we have 11 in the greater Houston area, 8 in the city itself!!
…that I’m going out with some of my favorite people tonight to celebrate the last of Restaurant Weeks. I’m definitely going to hit up more restaurants when this rolls around again next year.
…that I’m excited about sending my cousin care packages this year. I just need this little girl to send me her physical address at school. Grr!
…that I might or might not have spent 30 minutes this morning watching Justin Timberlake clips on Youtube. Judge me not people.
…that I stayed up with Chuck on the phone last night talking about how many kids we wanted and their names…he’s kind of perfect y’all. *swoons*
…that I had a friggin’ blast with my niece and nephew last night. Here are a few of the snapshots. I kind of gave them control of my phone and let them take a few snapshots.
(I promise I was mid smile when Moke snapped the picture)
(not the best shot of me, but he was putting his arm around my neck. I promise this boy is a pro at taking pictures already, and he’s only 3!)
…that I was brought to tears when Moke said “Come on Kenie, let’s dance” and she turned around and took his hand and they danced together. I’m such a sap (read: proud aunt).
…its NOT okay that I have to deal with this mess at work again.
What’s going on with y’all on this lovely Thursday?

I love that the Food Bank does this, gives me more excuses to eat out and try new restaurants! 🙂
