dear Weekend,

You’re here!!  I thought you’d never get here!

 

 

 

I know you’re tax free in Texas, but this year I’m actually going to try and avoid stores and any restaurant chain that’s having a deal on food (ie: Chilli’s, Red Lobster, Olive Garden).  I know that families will flock to those restaurants after spending all day shopping for back-to-school items.

dear School,

I can’t believe you’re about to start already.  It feels like just last week I was turning in my last paper of the semester.  I’m on the fence about this semester; I know that it’s my second to last one, but I’m not excited that I already have an assignment due in 4 weeks…as in 2 weeks after the semester starts.  Sheesh!!

Have I told you lately that you’re pretty darn awesome?  Because you are!  I’ve been eyeballing a few envelope clutches and you found the perfect one for me in a great price!!

I can’t believe you.  You can’t tell me that this 12 year old blossomed like this overnight.  He’s probably been bigger than his classmates and teammates for awhile.  He’s 6’0” and almost 300lbs, that doesn’t happen overnight.  Let the boy play!

You’re amazing too! I can’t tell you how many days I’ve gone through and just deleted emails from Groupon without opening them and reading them.  I was going between one of the May Books planners and an Erin Condren one before I saw the cutest one at Target for $10!

But thanks to Kristin I now know that Groupon has a May Books deal!!

The books are about the size of a composition book so they’re the perfect size for your purse!  I have a few sorority sisters with them and they love them.  You can get an academic calendar, meal planner, wedding planner, baby bump tracker, the options are truly endless.  They have the cutest designs for the covers and they can be monogrammed!! 

 

Oh!! Kristin, if you’re reading this I need to talk to you missy about redesigning my blog.  I’ve seen your work and I love it!

I’ve been kicking serious butt this week!! 27 activity points from morning workouts and I’ve been consistently eating under my allotted daily food points.  I’m not doing it purposely, I’ve just been eating a lot more 0pt foods than I thought! I’d planned on treating myself this morning to an iced coffee, but after I made it I realized that it was still only 2pts!! So I decided that I’m definitely treating myself tonight at dinner.  Wine, anyone?
