I’m still shocked that Sunday will be the last day of this challenge. I’m kind of sad about that actually.
I guess that means that I’ll just make these last few days count!!
I’m linking up with Sar again!

Poem?
Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
Does not serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us;
It’s in everyone.
It’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we’re liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
That poem is often misquoted as being Nelson Mandela’s since he used it after he’d gotten freed from prison, but the message still remains the same.
What are some of your favorites?
Sar says
The Marianne Williamson poem is one of my favorites! "What will you do with your one wild and precious life" was the "Wild Hope Mission Statement" of my undergrad university!
Jaz says
Her poems are so inspirational. I have little tidbits from a few of my favorites by her scattered amongst my school stuff and a few lines are written on notecards and attached to my bathroom mirror.
