Friday’s Letters

It seems like it’s been a while since I’ve done one of these, but that all changes today!!

 

Your compliment this morning really made me smile.  I hit my snooze button my alarm twice this morning. TWICE.  If you know me, then you know that that’s unlike me.  I usually roll right out of bed when my alarm starts going off.  I’ve even started waking up with a smile on my face since my morning alarm is back to John Legend’s “Good Morning”.  Take a listen if you’ve never heard it before.

Isn’t that smooth and beautiful?  Anywho!  I hit the snooze button twice this morning, giving myself 10 minutes of extra sleep and was stumped as to wear to work.  I ended up going with what I lovingly refer to as my ‘Warblers’ sweater from Target, a white top with white flowers on it…here, I’ll post a picture of both.

Anywho! It’s denim day so I paired these with a pair of dark jeans and if that yellow wasn’t enough of a pop of color I added these shoes to the mix.

 

So yeah, when the security guard said that I always look so cute when I come into work I couldn’t help but smile because this outfit was so last minute.  

I’m sure I don’t say this enough, but I’m definitely looking forward to you and resting again this weekend.  I feel like my life goes a mile a minute sometimes, and it’s great to just take a breather every now and then.  I don’t have any plans of going out of town, or really just leaving the house tomorrow…except to go next door to the birthday party their having and slide down that water slide.  Oh yes!

You are amazing.  Period.  Y’all make my life!

I really wish that you would’ve bucked the system a bit longer.  I don’t think I’m ever going to get used to paying taxes on items from you since I’ve never had to.  I ignored the news when I first heard it months ago online, but now I have no choice but to face it and deal with it since my local news covered it this morning.  This report is actually from April, but you get the point. 

I know I mentioned this yesterday, but I can’t believe you’re turning 9 tomorrow!!! I remember back when you’d just learned your name and birthday and you’d tell it to anyone who would listen to you.  I miss those days.  *tears*

ONE MORE WEEK!!!

Me buying my birthday present and then you paying me back for it is not the same as you buying it sir!  I would like to get it gift wrapped with a sweet card and if I’m buying it it’s not going to come like that.  I can’t be the only one who thinks this way, right y’all?  I mean, I’m doing most of the work by sending him the link and telling him what color I want it in.  What do y’all think?
