I’m at work sipping on a bottle of orange juice and listening to Sara Bareille’s ‘Live at the Filmore’ concert on my iPod and I’m at peace. I guess you could say that’s my first thought for this post; but amidst all the chaos that’s going on I’m at peace.
I’m linking up with Sar @ Life of Love again this week. I promise this girl is one of my favorites! 🙂

The right song can completely change your mood. I am a firm believer of this. I was feeling kind of blue this morning after the kiddos left, but when I turned on my iPod and saw Justin Guarini’s “If you wanna” pop up I immediately smiled…and repeated it 3 times. It’s upbeat and his voice just brings a smile to my face. I wish that guy was still making music.
EDIT!!
Justin Guarini tweeted me back!!!

My niece and nephew (who I affectionately refer to as “the kiddos”) left today for a two month visit to their dad’s in Maryland. This was decided on two months ago, but I just found out two days ago. I’m going to miss those little rugrats. They slept over last night and I got as much loving I could get in for the night, and my nephew definitely didn’t want to go. His face was making me frown. I guess I’ll have to make due with skype and phone calls while they’re up north.

I love this concert that Sara put on. The woman is talented.

I’m going to see the new Snow White & The Huntsman movie with my parents and cousins this weekend and I’m excited about it. I think I’m also overdue for some Daddy/Daughter time. I want to pick my dad’s brain about a few things. I might have to treat him to brunch on Sunday.

I do this! I also say “excuse me?” but that’s exactly what I mean when I say them.

I’m eyeing this case for my phone. Should I get it?

I have a little over a month before I’m in Boston visiting Ryan and a little over two months before I’m in Toronto to see Drake!! So excited!!!

I think I want to re-enact the balcony scene from Romeo & Juliet with my guy. That is all.
Penny for your thoughts?
